1. Who May Use Inksiders
You may use Inksiders only if you can form a binding agreement under the law that applies to you. Inksiders is not intended for children under 13. Because the service does not currently provide a parental-consent workflow, children under 13 may not create an account, use creator tools, or submit personal information.
If you use creator tools, you are responsible for activity that occurs through your account, session, device, or login credentials. You must keep your password and device secure and notify us if you believe your account or session has been compromised.
2. The Service
Inksiders allows creators to publish manga and comics, create public profiles, upload images and pages, post updates, receive comments, and display engagement such as likes, saves, views, and comments.
We may add, change, suspend, restrict, or remove features at any time. We do not guarantee that any feature, layout, reader experience, ranking, visibility, discovery placement, search placement, or engagement system will remain available or unchanged.
3. Your Content and Ownership
You keep ownership of the original rights you hold in the manga, comics, covers, pages, characters, artwork, updates, text, comments, images, and other content you upload, submit, or publish through Inksiders. These Terms do not transfer ownership of your original work to Inksiders.
Inksiders does not buy, own, claim ownership of, take copyright in, or become the author of your original creator work merely because you upload, submit, or publish it on the service.
You are solely responsible for your content and for making sure you have all rights, permissions, licenses, and clearances needed to upload, publish, display, distribute, and license that content through the service.
4. Your Responsibility for Public Content
If you publish content publicly on Inksiders, you understand that other users, visitors, search engines, bots, archives, websites, apps, screenshots, browser tools, or external services may view, copy, save, screenshot, index, link to, quote, reference, share, download, or otherwise use that public content outside of Inksiders.
Inksiders does not control and is not responsible for how others use content you choose to publish publicly, except where applicable law requires otherwise. You should not publish any content, personal information, or material that you do not want to be publicly accessible or potentially used outside the service.
5. Limited License to Operate the Service
By uploading, submitting, or publishing content on Inksiders, you grant Inksiders a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, cache, reproduce, format, resize, crop, transcode, display, distribute, make available, and otherwise use your content only as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, secure, moderate, support, promote, and display the service.
This license is for service operation only. It does not transfer ownership of your content to Inksiders. It does not give Inksiders the right to sell your original creator work as a standalone asset, claim authorship of your work, or use your work outside the service in a way unrelated to operating or providing Inksiders.
This license allows us to show your content in places such as creator profiles, work pages, feeds, search or discovery pages, cards and previews, the reader, comment sections, public pages, thumbnails, covers, banners, and service-generated previews, embeds, or share cards. It also allows our service providers to process your content only as needed to help operate the service.
6. Removing Your Content
You may remove content where the service gives you tools to do so, or you may contact us to request removal. When content or your account is deleted, we will take reasonable steps to remove your published content from active public display. However, deleted content may continue to exist for a limited time in backups, logs, caches, moderation records, legal records, security systems, or copies already accessed or saved by others.
Removal of content from Inksiders does not require other users, search engines, archives, screenshots, browser caches, third-party services, or external websites to delete copies they may already have.
7. Creator Responsibilities
You represent and agree that:
- You own your content or have permission to upload and publish it on Inksiders.
- Your content does not infringe another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, moral, or other rights.
- You have not uploaded, and will not upload, manga, comics, pages, covers, or other visual works created by or belonging to a third party — including works published by commercial manga or comics publishers — without holding a valid license or explicit permission from the rights holder.
- Your content is not falsely attributed to another creator.
- Your content does not contain malware, harmful code, hidden trackers, or abusive automation.
- Your content complies with these Terms and any posted content rules or community guidelines.
- You will not use Inksiders to deceive users about authorship, ownership, affiliation, identity, or source.
- You will not publish content that you do not have the right to share.
8. No Generative AI Uploads
Inksiders is for human-made manga and comics work. You may not upload, publish, submit, or present content generated in whole or in substantial part by generative AI systems. This includes AI-generated or substantially AI-generated manga pages, comic pages, panels, character art, cover images, promotional art, profile art presented as creator work, and story updates or posts presented as original creator work.
We may remove AI-generated or AI-assisted content at any time if we believe it violates this rule. We may suspend or terminate access for repeat, deceptive, or serious violations. We may ask for reasonable authorship or process materials when authorship is in doubt, such as sketches, drafts, layered files, thumbnails, pencils, inks, or project files.
This rule is a platform policy. It is stricter than the minimum question of whether some AI-assisted material may qualify for copyright protection in some jurisdictions.
9. No Scraping, Copying, or AI Training
You may not scrape, crawl, bulk download, bulk export, copy, mirror, archive, or extract content from Inksiders except as allowed by the service or with written permission from Inksiders and the applicable rights holders.
You may not use content from Inksiders to train, fine-tune, develop, test, validate, or improve artificial intelligence models, machine learning systems, image generators, dataset products, or similar systems without express permission from the applicable rights holders.
You may not bypass technical limits, robots instructions, rate limits, access controls, session controls, upload controls, or security measures.
10. Copyright, Rights Complaints, and Removals
Do not upload, publish, or submit content that infringes another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, moral rights, contractual rights, or other intellectual property or legal rights.
Uploader declaration. By uploading any image, page, cover, or artwork to Inksiders, you declare that: (a) you are the original creator of that work, or (b) you hold a valid license, permission, or other legal right to upload and publish that specific content on Inksiders. Uploading content you do not own or have rights to is a violation of these Terms and may constitute copyright infringement under applicable law.
Repeat infringer policy. Inksiders will terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat copyright infringers. A user with two or more valid copyright violation findings against their account may have their account permanently terminated without prior warning.
Content identification logging. Inksiders records technical information associated with each upload, including the time of upload and network-level identifiers, to assist in investigating and responding to valid copyright complaints.
How to report. If you believe content on Inksiders infringes your copyright or the copyright of someone you are authorized to represent, submit a report using our Copyright Report form. Your report must include: your name and contact information, identification of the copyrighted work, the URL or location of the infringing material, a statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized, and a declaration of accuracy. You may also send notices to info@inksiders.com.
Counter-notice. If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to info@inksiders.com explaining why the content does not infringe. We will review counter-notices and may restore removed content if a valid counter-notice is received and no legal action is filed within the applicable period.
If Inksiders later adopts a formal DMCA or equivalent notice-and-counter-notice process, we may publish additional instructions.
11. Prohibited Content
You may not upload, publish, submit, link to, or use Inksiders to distribute content that:
- Is unlawful or promotes unlawful activity
- Infringes intellectual property or other rights
- Impersonates another person, creator, brand, or organization
- Misrepresents authorship, ownership, affiliation, or endorsement
- Contains malware, harmful code, phishing, scams, or deceptive technical behavior
- Harasses, threatens, bullies, stalks, or targets another person
- Publishes private personal information without permission
- Promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence based on protected traits such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics
- Encourages self-harm, suicide, or serious violence
- Contains sexual exploitation, abuse, or non-consensual sexual content
- Sexualizes minors in any form, including fictional, drawn, illustrated, or stylized material
- Attempts to recruit, groom, exploit, or endanger minors
- Promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or organized violent harm
- Is spam, misleading promotion, engagement manipulation, or artificial metric inflation
- Attempts to bypass moderation, security, access, upload, or session controls
- Interferes with the normal operation of the service
We may remove prohibited content and may report serious violations to relevant authorities or reporting organizations when required or appropriate.
12. Comments and Community Behavior
Comments and social features must be used respectfully and lawfully. You may not use comments, profiles, or engagement tools to harass creators, manipulate metrics, spam readers, impersonate others, coordinate abuse, or evade moderation. We may hide, remove, restrict, or disable comments or engagement features at any time.
13. Moderation and Enforcement
We may review, remove, restrict, hide, label, or disable access to content at any time if we believe it violates these Terms, creates legal risk, harms the service, threatens community safety, or affects service integrity.
We may suspend or terminate accounts or sessions temporarily or permanently. We may take action without prior notice where we believe immediate action is necessary, including for security, legal, abuse, exploitation, infringement, or platform-integrity reasons. We are not required to host, display, preserve, restore, or explain the ranking, reach, discovery, recommendation, or visibility of any content.
14. Account Deletion
You may stop using Inksiders at any time. You may request deletion of your account and associated content by using available in-service tools or by contacting: info@inksiders.com
Account deletion generally removes your profile and published content from active public display, subject to reasonable technical, legal, security, backup, and enforcement limitations. We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce these Terms, prevent fraud or abuse, or keep records of moderation and enforcement actions.
15. Third-Party Services and Links
Inksiders may contain links to third-party websites, services, tools, platforms, or content. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, policies, security, availability, or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
16. Availability and Preservation of Content
Inksiders is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, permanent storage, continued availability, compatibility, traffic, visibility, engagement, search placement, reader access, recommendation, discovery, or preservation of any particular content or feature.
Creators should keep independent copies of all uploaded works, pages, source files, art files, project files, drafts, sketches, and related materials. Inksiders is not a backup or archival service.
17. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Inksiders disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, security, accuracy, and reliability. We do not guarantee that user content is accurate, lawful, original, safe, appropriate, or non-infringing.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Inksiders and its operators, owners, affiliates, service providers, and personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of content, data, revenue, profits, business, reputation, goodwill, or opportunity arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Inksiders is not responsible for how other users, visitors, search engines, bots, archives, websites, apps, or external services access, copy, save, screenshot, index, link to, quote, reference, share, download, or otherwise use public content that you choose to publish on the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Inksiders' total liability for any claim arising from or related to the service will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid to Inksiders for the service in the three months before the claim or USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability, so some of the above limits may not apply to you.
19. Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Inksiders and its operators, owners, affiliates, service providers, and personnel from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from or related to:
- Your content and your decision to publish content publicly
- Your use of the service or violation of these Terms
- Your infringement or alleged infringement of another person's rights
- Your violation of law
- Your misuse of accounts, sessions, creator tools, comments, uploads, or engagement features
- Any claim that content you uploaded, submitted, published, or made available through Inksiders infringes, violates, or harms a third party
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the service, by email, or by updating the effective date above. Your continued use of Inksiders after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms, unless applicable law requires a different form of notice or consent.
21. Fees, Voluntary Support, and Advertising
Inksiders is free to use. We do not charge fees to create an account, publish manga or comics, or access content, and all core platform features will remain free. Any financial support options (such as donations or subscriptions via PayPal) are completely voluntary and do not affect your access to any feature. Inksiders does not process or store payment information directly — all payments are handled by the third-party payment provider. In the future, Inksiders may display advertising on the platform as a source of revenue; advertising does not change the free nature of the platform's features for users.
